New LC Chats Available on Tuesdays Through April 30!

Announcing the new late winter/spring 2019 LC Chats schedule! LC Chats are available at no charge, and no requirement to register. Any adult English learner or non-native English speaker, at any level of English proficiency, can join this loosely structured conversation group with other adult ESL learners. The conversation is guided by an LCMC volunteer teacher, who will help learners navigate the trickiest parts of English conversation – idioms, metaphors, understanding current affairs and American culture, and more.

LC Chats are available at three locations, and students may attend as many weeks in a row as they can or want, at whichever location works best for them. LC Chats are available to any adult (age 18+) English learner who lives or works in Montgomery County, or, at our Beltsville, MD group, Prince George’s County.

See the schedule and locations below, or open a PDF of the Spring 2019 flyer. All groups begin meeting on Tuesday, February 12th, and have their final meeting on Tuesday, April 30th. Late spring/summer LC Chats will be available on a slightly different schedule at possible alternate locations.
