I’m a proud member of the Literacy Council of Montgomery County (LCMC) Board. We need your support.

LCMC is teaching under-served and marginalized adults the basic skills they need to succeed in the workplace and in society. We offer free ESL, GED, citizenship and computer classes.  Last year, we served over 3,000 adults in Montgomery County and we could have served more, but we did not have enough funds. 

Our students improve their employment opportunities, become better citizens, acquire consumer skills, and increase their involvement in their children’s education. 

Please help LCMC sustain and expand this vital work with a contribution to this page. Every $250 we raise means one more under-served adult gets access to quality education. This impacts not only our learners, but their families and their communities.
