Teach a Life Skills Workshop

LCMC partners with volunteers and organizations who can provide one-day workshops in life skill sets such as financial literacy, health literacy, and more. We’ve even partnered in teaching students who travel to vulnerable areas often how to prevent, identify symptoms, and get treatment for Zika virus!

Whether you’re interested in helping under-served adults with resume-building, understanding savings accounts and credit cards, how to read prescription and nutrition labels, or perhaps have identified a life skills need among low-income or immigrant communities in Montgomery County, we welcome your help.

If you’re interested in providing class space and/or teaching a life skills workshop, please contact Ryan at volunteercoordinator@lcmcmd.org.
