WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT 

Our successful Ramp to a Better Workforce program, launched one year ago, is continuing to grow rapidly – providing ESL training concurrently with skills-based training leading to a nationally recognized certificate on-site at McDonald's franchises (and other fast food restaurants) across the County. Recently, we expanded this program to also serve the out-of-work through a partnership with ResCare, our county’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provider, and we have plans to expand to two additional restaurants shortly.
