LCMC Teaming Up with COABE & Google for Digital Skills Training (Nov 13th 1pm)

LCMC is joining COABE and Google's Applied Digital Skills to host a training for teachers, tutors, and other education professionals. In this training you will learn about the Google Applied Digital Skills curriculum. We currently offer some of its courses to our Workforce Development students on the Economic track. However, these skills can benefit all learners, help prepare and better equip them for employment, and expose them to how the G Suite tools can be utilized to support their growth and success.

As an educator, supporting student's acquisition of these skills can assist you with successful teacher-student communication, instruction, and integrating classroom projects. Google's Applied Digital Skills curriculum is a series of short videos that feature project-based, ready-made lessons that can enhance your current lessons, or be utilized as supplemental or extended learning opportunities (homework).
